Least Free States Mostly Liberal

A new study released by George Mason University is a "first-ever comprehensive ranking of the American states on their public policies affecting individual freedoms in the economic, social, and personal spheres." As it turns out
" The freest states in the country are New Hampshire, Colorado, and South Dakota, which together achieve a virtual tie for first place. All three states feature low taxes and government spending -- and middling levels of regulation and paternalism.

New York is the least overall free by a considerable margin, followed by New Jersey, Rhode Island, California, and Maryland."

All I have to say on this one is, "Duh!". I am glad that someone respectable did the time and research to finally show was libertarians and conservatives have been saying for a while now. You can not punish the "achievers" (Boortz) and reward lazy failures. It simply makes no sense. Unless you are a liberal politician that is. Lets break it down.
Im going to start with the public/government schools, which are reek of socialism. When you control the schools you control a generation of minds. By molding the minds of the children, public schools have managed to create a whole generation of people taught never to fight back, even if you are not the aggressor, but to go get a teacher, "the govt". A generation who has been taught that there is no winners and losers, as long as you put in a good effort you pass the class. In other words, if you are have no marketable skills when you get out of school, its o.k., you "put in a good effort", here is a salary anyway (welfare). In the mean time, the students who do well in school and later in higher education pick up the slack and get their income reduced. At the same time the govt is demonizing these people for not paying their "fair share" and calling them "greedy"?!?!

The average liberal will not understand my point here because they agree. The thing is, where in the U.S. Constitution does it say anything along the lines of "congress and the president shall have highest authority the ability to determine when a citizen has earned what is deemed enough money and rob him of any extra money to 'give back' to the lazy." I suppose if you went to a public school you didn't spend much time on the Constitution, Bill of Rights, or the Declaration of Independence. You do spend whole months going over European history which is plagued with socialism and communism. A coincidence? Doubtful. To be continued......
